RE/MAX ASSOCIATES RAISE $5 MILLION MORE FOR CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK! Children's Miracle Network (CMN) has reported a record fund raising year in 2001 with $229 million in contributions for 170 local children's hospitals which serve 14 million children. The second-largest contributing sponsor for CMN is the RE/MAX real estate franchise network. RE/MAX associates in the United States and Canada raised $5 million in 2000, bringing the nine-year total of RE/MAX contributions to more than $32 million. CMN has been the primary charitable cause for RE/MAX members since 1992 with all monies remaining in local designated children's hospitals.

A variety of methods for raising funds are employed by RE/MAX associates, but among the most popular is the RE/MAX Miracle Home program. Each participating associate contributes a voluntary amount in the name of their buyer or seller for each real estate transaction. A special "RE/MAX Miracle Home" yard sign is available and the buyer or seller receives a gold foil embossed certificate of gratitude, explaining that both the RE/MAX associate and the client are helping children in need.

Ask your RE/MAX Colonial agent how you can become a "Miracle Home"!

The RE/MAX Difference

BETTER QUALITY PROFESSIONALS
As a group, RE/MAX Associates lead agents of competing companies in experience, education and production. They average more than 13 years of real estate experience and - across the network - hold a higher number of professional designations than agents of any single competitor. RE/MAX has more multimillion-dollar producers than any other residential real estate organization.

A GLOBAL NETWORK
By offering quality real estate professionals with both maximum commissions and advanced support systems, RE/MAX became the destination of top producers, gathering momentum as it grew. Following a pattern of gradual acceptance, accelerated growth, and finally, Premier Market Presence, RE/MAX expansion began with the sale of franchise regions first across the United States and then throughout Canada.

Expansion beyond North America began quietly, with the formation of RE/MAX of the Caribbean Basin in 1991, followed by RE/MAX Mexico in 1993. In 1995, less than four years after undertaking significant global expansion, RE/MAX boasted offices in 34 countries.

While real estate practices may vary from country to country, the appeal of the RE/MAX concept has transcended business and cultural differences and fueled RE/MAX growth around the globe. The same attributes that made RE/MAX a North American leader are now generating success from South Africa to Germany, Turkey to Australia. Buy today, aided by more efficient information systems and a globalization of the world's economies, growth that once took years is now unfolding at a rate unforeseeable at the beginning of the decade.

AN IMAGE SEVEN STORIES TALL
The RE/MAX balloon is one of the top 5 recognized corporate logos in North America! The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon is the most recognized symbol in real estate. The "Above the Crowd!" logo flies on RE/MAX advertising and promotion, and our hot air balloons comprise the largest corporate balloon fleet in the world.

THE RE/MAX SATELLITE NETWORK
RE/MAX is a leader in technology! The centerpiece of the RE/MAX technology, the RE/MAX Satellite Network (RSN) is the first and still the only proprietary television network to be created by a major real estate franchiser. RSN is the premier educational medium for the RE/MAX system and is broadcast for 4 hours every business day.

THE RE/MAX WEBSITE
RE/MAX was one of the first international real estate franchise networks to create a World Wide Web site. As well as general information on RE/MAX and the business of real estate, the site contains a private members-only extranet site, RE/MAX Mainstreet. This site revolutionizes communication between RE/MAX affiliates across the international network.

PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONS RE/MAX
Associates lead the membership rolls of the most prominent professional designations. More than 10,000 RE/MAX Associates hold the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) often referred to as the "graduate degree of residential real estate." RE/MAX also leads the industry in number of Certified Relocation Professionals (CRP), with more than 1,500 RE/MAX designees. RE/MAX is also the pacesetter in Leadership Training Graduate (LTG) designees, and is becoming a leader in the commercial area, with more than 200 Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designees, more than any other real estate organization.

CORPORATE RELOCATION AND ASSET MANAGEMENT
In 1995 Entrepreneur Magazine ranked RE/MAX the fastest growing franchise networking the real estate industry. RE/MAX International Relocation Services is one of the top relocation companies in the industry with clients such as Wal-Mart, Borden, Levi Strauss, Grimes Aerospace, Nordictrak and Ace Hardware. These clients provide substantial customer referrals in the relocation process.

The RE/MAX network provides an additional source of referrals to RE/MAX Sales Associates. The organization handles every phase of the relocation process, whether it is moving a single employee or an entire corporate division.

RE/MAX Asset Management services provides savings and loan institutions and other mortgage lenders with asset management expertise, from appraisal and market analysis to disposition and closing of real-estate-owned (REO) properties.
